Borrowed Time is a book first and foremost. It’s here to be read, enjoyed, shared, and talked about. That said, it’s not always easy to attract and retain readers in a crowded comics market. So we’ve added something unique.
We commissioned nationally recognized graphic designer Tony Larson to create a t-shirt for our main character to wear as the story unfolds. This shirt appears at a critical point in the story, and graphically represents both Taylor Devlin’s new world and the broader world in which Borrowed Time takes place. It will be available on a limited edition basis - on the internet, at shows and signings, and in select shops - once the book is released. We wanted to offer our fans something to take home that’s a little more personal than just the book itself, something which involves readers and enables them to participate in what we’re doing. In doing so we hope to also intrigue some folks who might not otherwise know the book is out there.
Subsequent issues of the book will feature similarly innovative approaches. Stay tuned.
